1. Please go to the following website to purchase CE credits BEFORE YOU REGISTER FOR THE WEBINAR ITSELFwww.orlandobehaviorhealth.org. Using the PayPal button for the correct course or webinar, select your license type using the dropdown menu for the course/webinar by following the NEARI link on top of the website (www.orlandobehaviorhealth.org/NEARI.html), and select the menu item for the correct webinar or course.

2. The questions and final post-test evaluation are available directly via links on the CE course listing on the Orlando Behavior Health services website. After you attend the webinar, please follow the links to complete your post-test evaluation.

3. Answer the test questions and save the test with your answers and post-test in a Word document.

Webinar Description:

Children and adolescents develop in dramatically different ways and a developmental context is essential to understanding problematic sexual behaviors among children and adolescents. The lenses of normative development and developmental psychopathology are essential to understanding the meaning and function of problematic or abusive sexual behavior. In turn, understanding the developmentally-informed functions and purposes of problematic sexual behaviors allows for individualized case formulation to guide further assessment, risk management, and establishing the foundations for building treatment relationships and implementing. A developmentally-informed case formulation can take into account that the same normative or problematic behaviors may have different meanings or functions among individuals, and that those meanings and functions may shift over time or context. Case illustrations include youth with Asperger’’s syndrome, intellectual disabilities, and psychiatric disabilities.
